I’m Carlos Peralta, a designer, researcher, and educator focused on creating prodcuts and services that make a positive impact in health, the public sector, and beyond. I collaborate with users and stakeholders to design solutions that are ethical, effective, and grounded in real needs.
My work has been recognised with the BMJ Innovation Award (2018) and the Beyond Bauhaus Award in Berlin (2019). My background spans Colombia, Italy, and the UK, where I completed an MA in Industrial Design and a PhD at the University of Cambridge. I have also taught design internationally, including at Central Saint Martins and Glasgow School of Art.
Outside of design, I enjoy drawing, painting, travelling, and playing basketball and squash.
